Cryptocurrency, or crypto for short, is a digital or virtual currency that uses cryptography to secure and verify transactions and to control the creation of new units. Unlike traditional currencies, cryptocurrencies are decentralized, meaning they are not controlled by any government or financial institution.

The first and most well-known cryptocurrency is Bitcoin, which was created in 2009 by an anonymous individual or group known only as Satoshi Nakamoto.

Since then, thousands of other cryptocurrencies have been created, each with its own unique features and use cases.

Blockchain mechanism, a decentralized or deconcentrated ledger that keeps and stores all transactions involving a specific cryptocurrency, is the foundation of cryptocurrencies in today's times.

A blockchain wedge can only be added to the chain once in a period of time, and each block contains a number of transactions.

Hence, the blockchain becomes a decentralized, transparent method of storing and verifying transactions.

Typically, and basically, users who purchases and sell cryptocurrencies through exchanges, which let them exchange one cryptocurrency for another asset or for fiat money. Like USD or EUR. For trading, these exchanges incurred fees,

and a particular cryptocurrency's price can change significantly depending on the market's demand and other elements.

The fact truth about cryptocurrencies is made to be resistant to fraud and counterfeiting is one of their key advantages.

It is very impossible for anyone or anybody to modify or change or made any revision to the transaction history since transactions involving cryptocurrency are confirmed by the network of computers powering the blockchain.

Also, in comparison to conventional payment methods that we have conducted through remittances, cryptocurrencies have provided greater privacy and anonymity.

The identity of the persons which involved in a cryptocurrency transaction is not made public or hidden in its credentials, even though the transaction is recorded on the blockchain. Those that are worried about their privacy and wish to keep their financial activities private may find this to be very appealing and a good choice.

All in all, cryptocurrencies offer a fresh and innovative way to hold and move money.

They have the ability and capacity to completely alter and adjust or change the way we think about money and finance and reserved even though they are still relatively new and not yet commonly embraced by a large extent of people today.
